Please spread the word to classmates who might not be regularly checking the blog. I forgot to mention this last week in class, but I did remind everyone in attendance for the opening on Sunday.
We will meet at 1:30 in the leafy courtyard directly outside the entrance to the exhibition, which is on the main floor of the West Building. Please remember that it takes a little extra time to get to the NGA, so plan accordingly. If you are late for any reason, you will find us in the exhibition. (Thanks to our classmate Nancy for pointing out my earlier error: our class begins at 1:30 not 3:15.
We will be conducting observation exercises (magnifying glasses!) in the gallery for the first half of the class. The second half will incorporate a discussion of our weekly reading (perhaps a short written quiz) into our discussion of the exhibition and its themes.
