No, the PRB Were Not Avant-Garde
Great artists, writers, thinkers, the PRB were many laudable things. They were not, however, avant-garde. Our seminar has had plenty of time to weigh the evidence. Lacking from the PRB work is the impulse to see art and make art in a truly new light. I'll expand this note after the final meeting of the seminar.
