Ken Russell's "Dante's Inferno"

We need to excuse the horrible punning title, and embrace Ken Russell's 1967 BBC television film about DG Rossetti and Elizabeth Siddal. I have not seen this film, but my colleague Doug Lang told me about how brilliant it is. I'll try to get a copy and screen it before class in one of the coming weeks. Oliver Reed plays Rossetti, so you know it's got to be great! Seeing this film might prove to be a good counter-balance to the depiction of the PRB we saw in the first episode of Peter Bowker's "Desperate Romantics."  The IMDB link: Dante's Inferno

Also a ten minute excerpt: DG Rossetti & Wm Morriss & Jane Burden
